The Lovers + The Tower

What this combination means

The Lovers with The Tower is love meeting upheaval: a relationship shaken by revelation, or a sudden, life-changing attraction.

In love

In love it can describe a breakup, a shocking truth, or falling for someone in a way that overturns your life. Either way, illusions about the relationship do not survive.

Career and money

In work, a choice of values triggers sudden change: leaving a job for principles, or a partnership breaking down.

Advice

Ask what was false in the old arrangement; build the next one on what remains true.

The two cards

• The Lovers: Deep connection and a defining choice ask for your whole heart. Choose in alignment with your highest values and authentic self.
• The Tower: Lightning strikes away false structures and fragile illusions in a single flash. Though jarring, the rubble clears the ground for authentic truth.
