Leo and Strength
The tarot card for Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 22) is Strength. Its ruling planet, Sun, corresponds to The Sun, and its element, Fire, to the suit of Wands.
Why Leo is Strength
Leo is the lion, and Strength shows a woman calmly closing a lion's jaws. The card is Leo's lesson: real power is warm-hearted and self-controlled, not loud. In the Rider-Waite deck Strength is card 8 precisely so that it falls on Leo in the astrological sequence.
True mastery comes from calm compassion rather than brute force. Meet fear and wild impulses with steady, loving patience.
